Philippines Celebrate Bonifacio Day

Andres Bonifacio was a Filipino revolutionary leader; born: November 30, 1863 – May 10, 1897. He is the Father of the Philippine Revolution and one of the most prominent national heroes in the Philippines. Andres Bonifacio was the founder of the KKK “Kataastaasan Kagalang-galang na Katipunan nang manga Anak nang Bayan” or Katipunan. Andres Bonifacio aimed for the independence of our country against the Spaniards.

November 30 in memory of our hero Andres Bonifacio we Filipinos should thank him for his heroic attitude he fought for our Country’s Independence during the Filipino – Spanish war. As Philippines celebrated Bonifacio Day and it’s a public holiday, all Filipinos in all areas especially who is in the Government went to the monuments of Andres Bonifacio and offer him flowers to thank him for the heroic he did for us Filipinos.

Mutiny in Manila Peninsula Hotel led by Sen. Trillanes and Gen. Lim with Magdalo soldiers

Sen. Trillanes and Gen. Lim together with the Magdalo soldiers walking out the hearing and march on to Makati Avenue last Thursday then occupied the Manila Peninsula Hotel at this time to voice out their stand. They all have their fighting spirit for the ouster of President Gloria Arroyo. The Manila Peninsula Hotel is surrounded by the Government Police and Army troops to arrest Magdalo soldiers led by Sen. Trillanes and Gen. Lim, there was a gunfire heard at the hotel after the tear gas canister in the hotel lobby. In the end Sen. Trillanes, Gen. Lim and the Magdalo soldiers decided to leave for the sake of the civilians inside the hotel.

Sen. Trillanes said “Like soldiers we are going to face it (charges)”. He also said that his conscience will bother him if civilians got hurt during the standoff. “What we did here is our obligation to the people,” he said. The senator added that the public and those who were inside the hotel are living witness to the “kind of ruthlessness” the Arroyo administration has been giving to the people.

President Gloria Arroyo imposed a curfew to NCR, Southern Luzon and Cental Luzon the curfew will start 12AM – 5AM after the incident happened in Manila Peninsula. I have here the photos of the Mutiny in Manila Peninsula Hotel courtesy of ABS-CBN.

I missed my Labrador Dog "Kelly"

As I was in youtube watching videos to unwind myself, I saw this fantastic video about the Labrador dog named Bear. I really like Labrador dogs they really playful and love waters a lot. My Labrador Kelly is very playful and a loyal dog; I really missed him a lot. I missed the bonding that we have especially when we’re at the beach. At the beach; just liked Bear in the video I threw a tennis ball and Kelly will get the ball and gave it back to me. Kelly is a very protective dog and I do believe that “Dog is a Man’s Best friend”. I missed you Kelly and I love you my ever loyal dog!

Celebrating the 1st Birthday of Jay2x

Last November 22 our neighbor named Agnes went to our house and has an invitation card for the 1st birthday of her daughter Jay2x. At 6pm we went there for dinner, I enjoyed watching other children especially my niece Anne because she’s curious about the party hat in her head, heheheh. Curiosity is in the eyes of each child they really enjoyed the dinner party of Jay2x’s 1st birthday especially the hotdogs with marshmallow on it. Lots of balloons, party hats and a give-aways for them to take home. To Jay2x wish you all the happiness in your childhood life and a good health. I took some pictures for the birthday celebrant together with her parents.

My officemate before introduced me Yuwie another social networking like friendster so on and so forth. You can build friends and link to others friends, share your interest, videos, blogs and pictures. Can view others profiles, bond with old friends, join clubs and meet new friends from Yuwie.

I love to travel in different places especially provinces; it’s been a year and I miss ridden a ship. I like provinces because you could relax and have a peaceful mind seeing their beautiful surroundings. Me and my boyfriend planning to go to Bohol, Bohol has its pristine white-sand beaches and the Chocolate Hills, centuries-old churches and towers, scuba diving havens, majestic falls and caves and historical landmarks as well as primitive and exotic fauna and flora. Bohol is where the Philippine Tarsier found, the well known Loboc River and Panglao Island. I’m really eager to go their; enjoy and have fun with the beautiful scenery.

Kamali-an Ubay Bohol is the birth place of my boyfriend and I will meet his grandparents there and stay to their house. Kamali-an Ubay Bohol is a far away from the City, there you will see a large rice fields, lots of fruits and a peaceful surroundings as my boyfriend described his place.

When where there I know I will enjoy, we will go to the places where Bohol is well known; Chocolate Hills, Loboc River, Panglao Island, Baklayon Church and where the tarsiers live. We plan to go there next year month of May because the whole month of May Boholanos celebrates their festivals and I’m sure we will enjoy our vacation.

Viva! Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario!

Last October 7 that was 1st Sunday of the month Baranggay Consolacion part of the "City of Golden Friendship" Cagayan de Oro City celebrating the feast of patron Nuestra Señora Virgen del Rosario. The feast had lots of activities and gigs to the youth and also to the adult; they had a disco, singing contest, boxing, Ms. Gay and Ms. Consolacion. When we say feast we Filipinos think about the foods especially "lechon" as a nature of a true Filipino one of the characteristic that we have is being hospitable and we should invite our relatives and friends to join celebrating the feast of the patron. Having a feast of the patron the church then, offer a mass of Christening for the babies for them to become Christian. One of the babies had been baptized is baby Troy the nephew of my boy friend and I'm her godmother, we welcome baby Troy after the ceremony to the world of Christianity.
