Dr. Jose Rizal our national hero

Today all Filipinos nationwide commemorate the 111th death anniversary of our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal. We all know that our national hero is the most well-known advocate in our country during the Spanish colonial era. Dr. Jose Rizal excellent works in terms of writings are his novels entitled Noli me Tangere and El Filibusterismo. When I was in my high school years I remembered that we have our drama at our class in Noli me Tangere. We did our best there to portray well the characteristics in the novel Noli me Tangere especially our hero. We then as a student treasured what our national hero Dr. Jose Rizal did for all of us as a Filipino. We should thank him for his heroic attitude for our country Philippines. And today also our Government and local officials in various areas went to the monument of Dr. Jose Rizal to commemorate his 111th death anniversary. The theme for this year’s celebration is “Isaisip at Isapuso ang Paggunita ng Kabayanihan ni Rizal”.

Adopted kitten

Christmas is over, today is a regular day and the workers are back to their daily routines to their respective offices. This morning when I was washing my clothes I heard the kitten shouting “meow meow meow”. She’s very noisy I’m so irritated with her voice out of four kittens she’s the only one that is alive. Her mom left her and I felt pity to the kitten. What I did I get the kitten and put her together with the puppies of our dog named Jasmine who have new born puppies. And when Jasmine arrived back to her puppies I was shocked then because I know Jasmine noticed it that there is a kitten. I just observed Jasmine, later on she lie down on the floor and ready for breast feeding; the puppies then and the adopted kitten start crawling and rambled. I’m so amazed of our dog Jasmine and the adopted kitten. She accepted the poor kitten to be one of her children, hehehe. The meow meow become an aw aw! Hehehehe… I would like to share with you the pictures I took with our dog Jasmine, the puppies and her adopted kitten. To see is to believe!

Visiting my loved ones on Christmas day

Last day that was Christmas day at exactly 3:00 in the afternoon my boyfriend and I went to the cemetery where my mom and dad buried. We visited them we lights candle, greet them a Merry Christmas and pray for their souls. Both of us know that their souls are at peace because their already in the hands of our God Almighty. To my mom and dad I miss you and I love, thank you very much for everything you’ve done for me. As we light the candles my boy friend said this to me that “all souls are reincarnated”. He believed that the cyclic return of a soul to live another life in a new body. And he asked me that I do believe with this one, “I answered him maybe, I really don’t know the answer”. Do you guys believe in reincarnation?

22nd Birthday of my boy friend

This day my boy friend is turning 22 years young, we went to church as early as four in the morning we attended Simbang Gabi. We thank the Lord for the blessings He gave for the both of us. And I prayed for the good health of my boy friend, more blessings to come in his life and a prosperous one on his career. For our relationship, I ask Lord to be at the center of our relationship so that I and my boy friend will be strong enough to handle any circumstances that will happen in our lives. In the evening my boy friend co-workers and friends are come together to join his valuable moment. All of us are having great fun, enjoyed singing and chit chatting with each other. For my boyfriend happy 22nd birthday to you I love you Pre!
And you know that
I'll be at your side, there's no need to worry
Together we'll survive through the haste and hurry
I'll be at your side
If you feel like you're alone, and you've nowhere to turn
I'll be at your side
I took some pictures for the 22nd birthday of my boy friend.

Simbang Gabi / 9 Mornings

Simbang Gabi is the most significant Filipino Christmas tradition. These 9 mornings will begin this day December 16 to 24 and the mass will start as early as 4am. Filipinos faith and believe that if you complete the nine dawn masses your wishes will be granted. Many Filipinos go to church to express their devotion and faith to the Lord and welcoming the birth of Jesus Christ. Simbang Gabi also is where Filipino family shows the strong family bonding. At the church you can see lots of Christmas decors especially the Belen and the beautiful Parol (star lanterns). After the mass you can see outside the church lots of vendors they sell Filipino delicacies like; bibingka, puto bumbong, pan de sal and hot tsokolate.
I'm so sad when Simbang Gabi is coming because I know I can't complete the nine dawn masses. I'm jealous for those people who live near the church, it's just a walking distance for them to attend and complete the 9 mornings.

1st Birthday of my niece

This is it! The big event of Dora the explorer and my niece. In the morning we woke up early, we decorate balloons inside and outside of our house. We clean up messes in the surroundings, at 9am my sister went to the cake store to pick up the ordered cake and bought ice cream for the kids.
In lunch time the friends of baby Anne are coming to join her precious moment of her 1st birthday. Our neighbors, relatives, friends, godmother and godfather of baby Anne are there also. After lunch my sister gets the ice cream for the kids, when the kids saw the ice cream all of them shouted “wow ice cream yehey”. They are very happy while enjoying eating there ice cream, then my sister slices cakes for them too! When the eating is over, we give each of them the give-away that we prepared and balloon. My niece received lots of gifts for her friends and especially for her godmother/godfather. I know my niece is very happy on her 1st birthday because she keeps smiling at her visitors. The 1st birthday of my niece is turning out well; we would like to thanks all the visitors who join baby Anne for her 1st birthday. This big event is a precious moment for us, for my niece stay charming as you are. You know how much we Love You! These are the pictures I took.
